Out of all the teas from Celestial Seasonings, Black Cherry Berry is by far my favorite.

It’s the one I always reach for, my ultimate go-to.
I first discovered Celestial Seasonings long before they had an official distributor in Korea, through U.S. imports or shopping trips while traveling abroad. To this day, I still dream of visiting their factory in the U.S. for a tour.

Among their wide variety of herbal teas, Black Cherry Berry is one that I reorder as frequently as Sleepytime. Thankfully, a few of their popular teas are now available in Korea through an official importer(Magic Lab), including a sampler pack featuring five blends: Raspberry Zinger, Black Cherry Berry, Wild Berry Zinger, Country Peach Passion, and True Blueberry. It’s a great introduction for those new to Celestial Seasonings, as each blend is well-loved with no divisive flavors.

🍡

The sampler is packaged with minimal waste to reduce environmental impact. Opening the box reveals individually wrapped teabags, and today, I pulled out Black Cherry Berry.

This tea blends hibiscus and rosehips with blackberry leaves, hawthorn, and natural black cherry and cherry flavors. Though the natural flavors make up just 4% of the mix, they breathe life into the cup, creating a perfect balance of hibiscus’ tartness and the sweet notes of cherry.

🍡

I always keep this tea stocked and enjoy it both hot and cold. Even when steeped for more than 10 minutes, it never turns bitter or loses its richness. The vibrant red color that unfurls as the teabag steeps is a delight to watch.

Caffeine-free and gluten-free, it quickly turns your cup a rich red hue, releasing sweet cherry and tangy hibiscus aromas. Whether served hot, cold-brewed with sparkling water, or iced, it fits any occasion perfectly.

Some teas suit specific seasons, weather, or moods, but Black Cherry Berry is a tea that feels right anytime, anywhere. It gives the feeling of sipping on a premium fruit tea or even a homemade fruit punch.

🍡

This tea creates a perfect moment of relaxation. Boiling water, picking my favorite teacup, savoring the aroma, observing the infusion’s color, and finally taking a sip—these steps allow me to focus entirely on the present, making my tea time a true escape.

Its deep, dark cherry-colored brew sometimes turns a vibrant red, and on other days, a more muted brownish hue. Most often, it leans toward a darker shade, but this variation comes from how the tea is brewed. Tracking these subtle differences, observing, and recording them in my tasting notes has become a little joy of mine.

🍡

For a sweet and tangy break, Celestial Seasonings' Black Cherry Berry ensures a perfect tea time.
